QA Pharmacist

Imres | Lelystad

We are looking for a QA Pharmacist to join our team. As a QA Pharmacist you will be employed in a dynamic environment, working closely with your colleagues within the Quality Department and colleagues in the Sales, Export, Purchasing, Import and Warehouse Departments as well. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that Imres purchases and sells the right pharmaceutical and medical products.

Core duties of a QA Pharmacist

  • Initiate and draft procedures and work instructions and maintain the documentation system;
  • Prepare and assess packaging texts and package leaflets for medicines and medical devices;
  • Co-draft and review procedures, risk assessments, validation documentation and quality and annual reports;
  • Ensure proper coordination and implementation of projects;
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions;
  • Provide reports on change control, deviations and complaints / recalls;
  • Assess supplier and product files;
  • Prepare and conduct internal audits;
  • Support government and customer audits;
  • Contribute to the quality strategy by advising on compliance and quality related improvements for GDP purposes;
  • Act as the responsible person (RP) for wholesale;
  • Support the QA Manager.

Your background

  • Completed university education: pharmacy (pharmacist);
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred;
  • Familiar with regulations regarding GDP (Good Distribution Practices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 9001;
  • Accuracy, independence, decision-making skills and organizational insight are characteristics that apply to you;
  • Moreover, you possess good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
